Scott received a business degree with a major in accounting and a minor in business management from Fresno Pacific University in 2006. He started working for a public accounting firm in 2005 and earned his CPA license in 2008. In 2009, he became the CFO at a manufacturing company, in 2011, he became the Head of Finance and Accounting for a nonprofit company overseas, and in 2022, he became an accounting independent contractor. He joined Price Paige’s tax department in 2025.

When Scott isn’t working on projects, he can usually be found spending time with his six children in Nashville. He also enjoys hitting golf balls, pickleball, and traveling around the world. In the hot summers, Scott loves spending time up in the Smoky Mountains to get away from the heat.

Did You Know: Scott spent 15 years as a missionary and pastor.

Jesse graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Business Management Economics, with an Accounting Concentration. Originally, he was in technology and information management because he enjoyed learning about the latest advances. That all changed when he took his first tax class and realized how tax law is also ever-changing, which piqued his interest.

If Jesse weren’t an accountant, he would be a financial analyst, as he enjoys learning about the stock market. Outside of work, Jesse’s favorite hobbies are working on cars and collecting Pokémon cards. His hidden talent is being in the top 10% of League of Legends players. If Jesse could only eat one food for the rest of his life, it would be smoothies, as they are so versatile and able to give him all the nutrients he would need.

Jason has practiced public accounting since graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Fresno State in 2012, and became a licensed CPA in California in 2014. He has extensive experience providing income tax planning, tax compliance, and other tax-related services to middle-market corporate and flow-through entities with a focus on multigenerational family business. Jason serves clients in a variety of industries, including agribusiness, construction, food and beverage, and real estate.

If Jason weren’t an accountant, he would likely be working in construction, enjoying the sense of accomplishment he gets from building things. His guilty pleasure is building Legos, and his favorite way to get away and relax is through road trips, having now visited every state west of Arkansas. His favorite family tradition is going five years strong: an annual trip to the 49ers training camp practice with his family!

Did You Know: Jason’s hidden talent is being able to pick up a quarter with a forklift.

Claudia’s first job was as a City Hall intern, a role that taught her the valuable soft skills and office etiquette she brought into her professional career. After various internships and educational roles, experiencing the environment of an accounting internship and even a tax internship at PPC was what drew her to continue within the field. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Fresno State, Claudia rejoined PPC as Tax Staff.

If she hadn’t decided to continue her career within tax and accounting, Claudia would be a yoga instructor. She can be found indoor bouldering when not in the office. Her friends would describe her as outgoing and a little daring, with a love of the 80s for both the decade’s romantic pop-rock music and hairstyles.

Garrett graduated from Fresno State summa cum laude with his B.S. in Accounting in May 2025, where his love for tax blossomed. Before joining the team, he worked as bookkeeper for a farm management company and saw one tax season as a tax intern at another accounting firm. He is currently in the process of becoming a licensed CPA and has passed 3 out of 4 CPA exams.

If Garrett weren’t an accountant, he would likely be a scientist, stating math and science as his favorite subjects in school. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball, collecting Lego minifigures, enjoying sushi, and spending time in the wilderness, particularly hiking in Yosemite.

Before joining PPC, Trisha had been working within the administration departments of various tax accounting offices for 10 years. Prior to that, she worked as a mortgage loan processor for 20 years.

In her free time, Trisha likes to raise her chickens, work in her garden, enjoy homemade ice cream, and walk her dog Gunner to the river near her house. Her guilty pleasure is playing escape games on her phone while watching the latest sci-fi, mystery, or thriller on Netflix. Her favorite family tradition is going to Disneyland with her sons.

Juan is a Fresno State graduate who is currently working towards obtaining his CPA license. He started his accounting career in 2020 as a tax preparer at a local tax office where he discovered his passion for accounting. His favorite part of being an accountant is helping clients achieve their financial goals. He enjoys analyzing financial situations, identifying opportunities for tax savings and strategic improvements, and providing clear, actionable guidance to support long-term success.

Outside of work, Juan enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, and exploring trails with his family. He’s also a car enthusiast who spends his free time working on a variety of vehicles. If he weren’t an accountant, he’d likely be building high-performance cars with serious horsepower.

DID YOU KNOW: One of Juan’s favorite pastimes is bonding with his son over cartoons, a beloved hobby from his own childhood. These days, they especially enjoy watching anime together.

Zujeik received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accountancy from Fresno State in 2021. She tried out several other degree programs, including public health and social work, before discovering that accounting was the perfect career path for her personality and strengths. She plans to pursue a CPA license in the next few years. If she wasn’t an accountant, she would be working as a nutritionist or a Zumba instructor!

Downtime isn’t a reality for Zujeik, who likes to stay active. This includes visits to the gym, dancing, and spending time outside with her family.

PPC Trivia: Zujeik’s guilty pleasure is the flavor of cheesecake! But if she had to eat one food for the rest of her life, she would choose seafood.

A member of the Price Paige team, Makayla is currently working towards her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an accountancy option at Fresno State. Makayla’s first job was working as a teller for a money services business, where she discovered her passion for money and decided to seek a career in accounting. After she graduates from Fresno State in May of 2024, she plans to pursue her CPA license.

Outside of work, Makayla enjoys yoga, gardening, and reading Stephen King novels. She also likes to take solo trips to the coast, particularly to Carmel-by-the-Sea.

PPC Trivia: Makayla recently took on two new hobbies—salsa dancing and learning how to play the bass!

Ferdy graduated from Fresno State in the Spring of 2022, earning a degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting after also studying at West Hills College Coalinga. His passion for accounting came to fruition at West Hills College, where professors made the subject enjoyable and understandable.

Outside of the office, Ferdy enjoys visiting places he’s never been before, especially while on a hike or at the beach.

PPC Trivia: If Ferdy had to eat one food for the rest of his life, it would be pasta! But when it comes to guilty pleasures, that honor belongs to sorbet.

Edubiges began college focused on a career in the medical field, but she changed her major to Business Administration and graduated from Fresno City College in 2020. Continuing her studies, she graduated from Fresno State in December of 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an option in accountancy. She is the first generation in her family to graduate from a four-year university. After starting a part-time position at Price Paige & Company in December of 2022, she became a full-time employee in January of 2023. Edubiges is currently pursuing her CPA license.

Edubiges grew up with a large family—four brothers and two sisters—and now she is the mother of a large family! She and her husband have three boys and one girl. They love staying up late and watching movies together.

PPC Trivia: Outside of work, Edubiges enjoys gardening, cooking, and baking. She takes her hobbies to new heights by collecting rare succulents and trying new recipes.

Ashley joined the PPC team on her birthday in 2022. She has worked in accounting since 2018, when she graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an option in accounting. She received her CPA license in May 2025. Her professional career has given her experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes. At Price Paige, she enjoys seeking out projects to help the team and developing her skills.

When she is not working, Ashley enjoys camping with her friends and reading to each other around a campfire.

PPC Trivia: If Ashley wasn’t an accountant, she would be a cacti cultivator! She currently grows prickly plants as part of landscaping efforts to make her home drought-friendly.

Fun Fact: Ashley adopted a Dobermann during her second tax season here at PPC from an adoption center three minutes away from our office. It was a unique coincidence that the Dobermann and Dreiling name originate from Germany, and they are both known for their history in working in taxes.

Monica is a member of our tax department’s administration team, responsible for many tax-related client service tasks. She also assists with onboarding new hires and other firm-related projects. Monica came with an eclectic work history consisting of work experiences across several sectors, always in a supportive role. Having this diversified work history makes her resourceful and adaptable, which comes in handy when faced with a new challenge.

Before coming to Price Paige, Monica tutored students at the elementary and junior high level. Additionally, she has worked in a number of roles with community-based organizations. These experiences were very rewarding, and Monica’s passion for helping others is what makes her a great assistant.

Fun Fact: When she isn’t at the office, Monica enjoys gardening when she wants to relax. She loves going camping or heading to Disneyland with family when she’s looking for something more fun and exciting!

Terry Irwin

Terry has worked for Price Paige & Company for almost six years as the Tax Administrative Assistant. She assists with all miscellaneous office duties within the tax department. Before coming on board to the Price Paige team, Terry spent 26 years at the IRS working in various departments and as an analyst for the Director’s office.

While she spends a lot of time keeping the tax department running, Terry enjoys time outside tending to her garden and crafting. She also enjoys grabbing some pizza and ice cream with her husband and grandkids and spending a beautiful day at the beach with them. Although if she had to choose one food to eat for the rest of her life, Terry would choose some delicious tacos.

Fun Fact: Terry’s first job was at the Black Angus in Fresno, when she was 16 years old. She loved meeting new people and chatting with customers, which is something she loves about her current job, too!

Susan plays the vital role of Tax Manager for the Price Paige tax department. She has worked professionally in accounting since 1985, after getting her Bachelor of Science from Fresno State in May of the same year. Susan worked her way up, starting as the receptionist in a local CPA firm and later becoming a CPA in 1993. She came aboard the Price Paige team in 2015. She specializes in tax return preparation for individuals and entities. Susan has gained expertise in estate planning and estate tax reporting. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of CPAs, and Fresno Estate Planning Council.

One of the many lessons Susan learned at her first job at a small, family-owned sportswear store was the importance of customer service, which is probably why she’s so great with clients. She especially loves hopping in her Airstream travel-trailer and hitting the road with her husband. Just like Price Paige, Susan loves giving back to the community—she uses her love of cycling to fundraise for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through Team in Training, an endurance training program.

Fun Fact: Susan’s favorite hobby outside of work is quilting. She says that the combination of artistic and technical skills offers a continuous challenge, so she’s always working on a new quilted creation.

Sam received a business degree with dual emphasis in finance and international business from Fresno Pacific University in 2006. After realizing the potential of an accounting career, Sam started working for a public accounting firm in 2007 and earned his CPA license in 2011. In 2015 he joined Price Paige, and has since become a valuable member of the tax and audit departments, helping clients primarily in the agriculture, construction, and service industries.

The constant challenges that public accounting offers are not the only challenges Sam enjoys. When Sam isn’t mentoring his peers or working on projects, you can find him in the mountains enjoying a hike, or spinning a basketball on his finger for a very—very, very, very— long time. Though in the summer when it’s 100 degrees and up, you can usually find Sam in Monterey or Carmel, where it’s much cooler.

Did You Know: If Sam weren’t an accountant, he’d be traveling the world—but Italy has nothing on the Central Valley; he’d rather come back to get some of his favorite pizza from Popolo’s.

Marie has been an important component of the audit and tax departments at Price Paige & Company. Lately, she focuses her time on tax preparation and planning for individuals and various entities. Marie’s heart for nonprofit organizations has led her to work with them by preparing the tax returns for many Price Paige not-for-profit clients. She began her accounting career after graduating from Pepperdine University with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in April of 2005. She joined Price Paige in 2004 as a part-time employee, became full-time in 2006, and received her CPA license in December of 2008.

If Marie isn’t with her Price Paige family, she is spending time with her husband and three sons. Marie takes fantasy trips around the world with her family once a month when they open their international crate of snacks—though she personally wouldn’t recommend the wasabi-flavored Kit Kats. Marie also loves traveling all over California with her family in their travel-trailer.

Fun Fact: Marie has been a Bachelor addict since the first season aired! She can’t get enough of the entire franchise and always comes to work ready to gossip about the most recent episode.

Born and raised in Fresno, Bob received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fresno State, a Master of Science in Taxation from San Joaquin College of Law, and became a CPA in December of 1973. After decades of hard work and excellence, Bob was elected by the Board of Directors of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) on February 22, 2006.

Prior to working in the accounting industry, Bob’s first steady job was as a carrier for the Fresno Bee. After getting to know the public accountant on his route, Bob decided to become a CPA—a decision that was featured in a Fresno Bee article on Bob when he was in seventh grade.

Outside of the office, Bob enjoys educating others on taxation and accounting. He frequently lectures on Estate and Trust Taxation and Planning Issues for numerous organizations. Bob’s expertise has allowed him to author various articles on estate and trust matters including, “Life Insurance Alternatives for the Family Business Owner,” published in The Journal of Taxation of Estates and Trusts, and “Keeping the Farm in the Family,” published by Commerce Clearing House in the Estate and Financial Planning Journal.

Bob truly cares about his community and has served as the chairman or been a member of various nonprofit and estate planning councils in the community. In 2015, Bob was awarded CalCPA’s Public Service Award for his tremendous impact on the Fresno and Clovis area.

The tax and financial planning process should be consistent with your business values and goals—at least, that’s Bob’s philosophy. Good planning enhances the benefits and wealth available to you, your family, your business, your community, and your favorite charitable organizations.

When Bob isn’t working hard in the office, he gets out for some fresh air either golfing, sailing, or boating. Although, if there is snow on the ground, Bob enjoys a day skiing on the slopes. Bob has a penchant for hard work and excellence, but his favorite tradition is gathering on the coast of Maine for quality time with his family.

PPC Trivia: Bob’s first job was as a Fresno Bee newspaper carrier—a public accountant was on his route, which influenced his decision to become an accountant. In fact, he was featured in the Fresno Bee when he was in 7th grade saying he wanted to be a CPA. Bob is literally living his dreams!

Mitchell, a Central Valley native, is a partner and tax principal at Price Paige & Company. He has been in the accounting field professionally since 1990. In 1994, he became an associate at Price Paige, he became a CPA in 1997, and he became a shareholder of the firm in 2003. Mitchell’s ability for untangling and applying the tax code makes him the expert partner for taxation problems and questions.

He has developed significant expertise in accounting, preparation of financial statements, and tax returns for individuals, trusts, and all entities. Mitchell also assists clients in various types of tax and estate planning. Prior to his work in accounting, Mitchell graduated from National University with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Financial Accounting in 1993. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mitchell is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and uses his knowledge of the program to help businesses succeed. His desire is to be proactive in the tax and financial planning process, empowering individuals, families, and companies to move forward with today’s technology while enhancing the benefits of wealth preservation and growth.

Mitchell’s involvement in the leadership of Price Paige carries on to his time outside the office. He is an active member of his church and the Clovis Rodeo Association. As the Treasurer for the Domus Mitis Foundation, he helps manage and maintain the nonprofit’s gifts of money and property to provide programs and facilities for abused and dependent children in Fresno County. Mitchell also works with kids in Fresno County 4-H and Future Farmers of America through his children’s livestock projects. He’s a very active dad and loves spending time with his wife, Shelley, and their three children.

Fun Fact: At the end of a long day of work, Mitchell’s favorite thing to do is barbecue with his family and friends on the back patio and watch some college football. His family is everything to him, so each moment spent with them is a moment he treasures.
