Each year, we recognize an employee for exemplifying the values and beliefs we hold highest at our firm:

Marie Knapp

Marie has been with the Price Paige and Company for more than 12 years and was recently promoted to Tax Supervisor. Her experience and knowledge continue to be a valuable asset as she worked on many important projects that have contributed to the growth and future of the firm this year. Marie has been a key member in reaching our goal of becoming a more efficient team by refining our tax procedures and workpapers. She also helped implement our first ever weekly summer tax training program, which has proven to be a success. Marie has also been overseeing our conversion process into new software, ensuring a smooth transition. In addition to being Employee of the Year, Marie was also nominated earlier in the year as our employee of the 2nd quarter!

Hardworking, approachable, and a great mentor, Marie is always willing to help others even when she is tackling her own projects. She has done a tremendous job training new staff in the tax department and has the desire to see new staff grow. She is a great mentor to all staff employees and a great resource for managers and partners.

Keep up the great work, Marie. We appreciate all that you do!

Each quarter, we recognize an employee for exemplifying the values and beliefs we hold highest at our firm:

Below are the employees we felt most deserving of this honor in 2018.

Within the two years that Sam has spent with Price Paige & Company, he was recently recognized as employee of the year for 2017 and has been nominated as the 1st Quarter Employee. He continues to excel in everything he does and is a great team player with Price Paige & Company. During this past tax season, Sam kept himself busy by managing his work load, reviewing tax returns, and training and mentoring new staff. Sam’s peers value and praise him for his ability to teach and the encouragement he provides. Sam shows his dedication in the work he performs and in providing great client service. Many clients have been pleased with his patience and willingness to help.

We are grateful to have such a tremendous individual be a part of the PPC family!

Marie Knapp

Marie Knapp has been recognized as Employee of the 2nd Quarter. Marie first started at Price Paige and Company as an intern and has now been with the firm for over twelve years. As a Tax Supervisor, her peers acknowledge her abilities to train and oversee staff. This summer, Marie was busy managing summer trainings for the tax department, which has proven to be very effective in the growth of not only staff, but managers, as well. She has also been working with managers in refining tax procedures and work papers to ensure better review processes and increase efficiency.

Her peers describe her as very approachable and hardworking. She always has a smile on her face and maintains a positive attitude. On top of it all, Marie is a die-hard Giants fan!

Karen Sisneros

Karen Sisneros has been recognized as Employee of the 3rd quarter. She has been with Price Paige & Company for more than two years as our receptionist. In this short time, she has become a crucial member of the firm. Karen greets everyone like family and is always willing to accommodate the needs of anyone that asks for help. She consistently keeps the office looking nice and ready for any occasion. Our clients praise Karen for her professionalism and kindness.

Karen is truly appreciated for everything she has done for the firm. No matter what the task, Karen is always dependable to get the job done. She maintains a positive attitude and always has a smile on her face. On top of all that, Karen loves her job. We couldn’t survive without her delicious coffee!

Vang Moua

Vang Moua first started at Price Paige and Company as a tax intern. He assisted the tax department in scanning and preparing tax returns during the 2018 tax season. After proving he was a valuable addition to the team through his internship, Vang was offered a part-time position while finishing school.

In addition to his daily tax work, Vang also assists the audit department. Although he is part-time, Vang has been able to take on multiple tasks to help the audit department meet their deadlines. His coworkers praise him for his ability to learn quickly through consistently asking questions and wanting to understand the “why” behind his work. He is always ready to help anyone and approaches each project with a positive attitude. Vang cares about delivering a great product and continues to show improvement with all assignments thrown his way.
Vang recently finished his last semester at Fresno State and will soon join PPC as a full-time tax team member—just in time for the 2019 tax season!

We look forward to seeing Vang’s personal and professional growth here at Price Paige & Company.

Many of our employees have been dedicated to serving the community for their entire careers. Their philanthropic efforts only scratch the surface of the impact they’ve made in the Central Valley—which is just one of many reasons that we’re proud to have them on our team!

“All partners learned about giving back from our parents. It was instilled within us at an early age, which not only helped us in our business relationship amongst ourselves, but with our team, our clients and our business relationships. Our focus is on our community, our profession, and supporting those organizations that provide support services for each.
