Each year, we recognize an employee for exemplifying the values and beliefs we hold highest at our firm:

Marie Knapp

Marie has been with the Price Paige and Company for more than 12 years and was recently promoted to Tax Supervisor. Her experience and knowledge continue to be a valuable asset as she worked on many important projects that have contributed to the growth and future of the firm this year. Marie has been a key member in reaching our goal of becoming a more efficient team by refining our tax procedures and workpapers. She also helped implement our first ever weekly summer tax training program, which has proven to be a success. Marie has also been overseeing our conversion process into new software, ensuring a smooth transition. In addition to being Employee of the Year, Marie was also nominated earlier in the year as our employee of the 2nd quarter!

Hardworking, approachable, and a great mentor, Marie is always willing to help others even when she is tackling her own projects. She has done a tremendous job training new staff in the tax department and has the desire to see new staff grow. She is a great mentor to all staff employees and a great resource for managers and partners.

Keep up the great work, Marie. We appreciate all that you do!

4TH QUARTER

Vang Moua

Vang Moua first started at Price Paige and Company as a tax intern. He assisted the tax department in scanning and preparing tax returns during the 2018 tax season. After proving he was a valuable addition to the team through his internship, Vang was offered a part-time position while finishing school.

In addition to his daily tax work, Vang also assists the audit department. Although he is part-time, Vang has been able to take on multiple tasks to help the audit department meet their deadlines. His coworkers praise him for his ability to learn quickly through consistently asking questions and wanting to understand the “why” behind his work. He is always ready to help anyone and approaches each project with a positive attitude. Vang cares about delivering a great product and continues to show improvement with all assignments thrown his way.

We look forward to seeing Vang’s personal and professional growth here at Price Paige & Company.

Many of our employees have been dedicated to serving the community for their entire careers. Their philanthropic efforts only scratch the surface of the impact they’ve made in the Central Valley—which is just one of many reasons that we’re proud to have them on our team!

“All partners learned about giving back from our parents. It was instilled within us at an early age, which not only helped us in our business relationship amongst ourselves, but with our team, our clients and our business relationships. Our focus is on our community, our profession, and supporting those organizations that provide support services for each.
