Barbara Perry
Right after graduating from college with a counseling degree and within months of marrying her husband of now 40 years, Barbara started working in the financial sector as a receptionist at a mortgage company after a friend recommended her for the job. She chose to stay in the financial sector long-term, and with just about 40 years in the finance field—15 as an administrative assistant and 25 as a home mortgage loan processor and loan officer—she’s no stranger to proofreading and number-crunching. It was no wonder that after being hired by the firm in December 2024, she fit right in and found her place at PPC as an Audit Administrative Assistant.
Outside of the office, you may find Barbara with a needle and thread. She has been sewing since she was about eight years old. She first learned by helping her grandmother sew blocks together to make quilts for the Fresno Rescue Mission. Barbara still sews today, being involved with a church group as they make quilts for area NICUs, residential care facilities, and organizations benefiting children, including an orphanage in Mexico.
Fun Fact: If Barbara could trade places with any movie or TV character, she would pick one in a medical field—which is no surprise if you know that she was originally a pre-med major back in college!
